3 Cookies

Accepting cookies is not a prerequisite for visiting our website. However, we would like to point out that our website and offers have only limited functionalities if you do not allow us to set cookies.

3.1 What are Cookies?

Cookies are small files that are stored on your data carrier and that store certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. Basically, a distinction is made between 2 different types of cookies, so-called session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and temporary/permanent cookies, which are stored on your data carrier for a longer period or indefinitely. This storage helps us to design our offers for you accordingly and makes it easier for you to use them, for example by saving certain entries from you so that you do not have to repeat them constantly.

3.2 Are there also cookies from third-party providers (so-called third-party cookies)?

TBL uses some third-party providers who help to make the Internet offer and the websites more interesting for you. Therefore, when you visit the websites, cookies from partner companies are also stored on your hard drive. These are temporary/permanent cookies that automatically delete themselves after the specified time. These temporary or permanent cookies (lifetime 14 days to 10 years) are stored on your hard drive and delete themselves automatically after the specified time. The cookies of our partner companies also contain only pseudonymous, mostly even anonymous data.

3.3 How can you prevent the storage of cookies?

In your browser, you can set that the storage of cookies is only accepted if you agree to it and thus prevent further setting of cookies for the future. If you only want to accept the TBL cookies but not the cookies of our service providers and partners, you can select the setting “Block cookies from third-party providers” in your browser. As a rule, the help function in the menu bar of your web browser will show you how to reject new cookies and switch off already received cookies.

4 Web Analysis

In order to constantly improve and optimize our offer, we use so-called tracking technologies. For this we use the services of Google Analytics.

4.1 Google Analytics

This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (www.google.at). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of your use of the website, such as so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer. The information generated about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on our offers, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link:

http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

As an alternative to the browser plugin, you can click this link to prevent collection by Google Analytics on this website in the future. An opt-out cookie will be stored on your end device. If you delete your cookies, you must click the link again.

5 Secure Data Transmission

Your personal data is transmitted securely by encryption. This applies of course also to your order and also to the account login. We use the coding system TLS (Transport Layer Security) or SSL (Secure Socket Layer). Furthermore, we secure our websites and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.

6 Links to Other Websites and Social Media

The provision of links to other websites is for information purposes only. Other websites are beyond our control and are not covered by this policy. When you access other websites via the links provided, data about you may be collected by the operators of the respective websites, which may then be used by the operators in accordance with their respective privacy policies in a manner that may differ from our policy.

On some pages of our website, content, applications or plug-ins from third-party providers may be made available that track your use of content, applications or plug-ins and/or optimize your use of content, applications or plug-ins. For example, if you share an article on our website with others via a share button for social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter or Google Plus), this process is recorded by the social network that created the button.

7 Online Presences in Social Media

We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms in order to communicate with the customers, interested parties and users active there and to inform them about our services. When accessing the respective networks and platforms, the terms and conditions and the data processing guidelines of their respective operators apply. We process the data of users insofar as they communicate with us within the social networks and platforms, e.g. write posts on our online presences or send us messages.
