Yanbu Madina Phase 3 Water Transmission System

Transport of drinking water from the Yanbu desalination plant in the Western Province of Saudi Arabia to supply the cities of Yanbu, Madina, Hanakiyah, Mahd, Humra and Badr.

The Yanbu – Madina Phase 3 Water Transmission System is an extension of the existing Yanbu – Madina Water Transmission System and consists of the expanded tank farm in Yanbu and five independent pipeline systems:

  • Yanbu Madina Mainline – Phase 3
  • Coastal Area Supply Line – Phase 3 (Loop Line)
  • Madina Hanakiyah Feeder Line
  • Yanbu City Feeder Line – Phase 3
  • Madina Mahd Feeder Line

  • FEED verification
  • Review of process engineering with regard to instrumentation, control, and regulation (ICR) and operational flexibility
  • Creation of the operating, control, and automation philosophy for the overall system
  • Creation of the control and regulation philosophy of functional groups and systems
  • Creation of process diagrams
  • Creation of piping and instrumentation diagrams
