Water Supply System for Fujairah Distribution Network

Transport of drinking water from the desalination plant in Qidfa on the east coast of the United Arab Emirates to supply individual consumers along the coastal region to Fujairah and Dibba.

The water supply system consists of a common main pumping station and two independent pipeline systems:

  • Main Line Zone 1B/3 and Al Hayle Gravity Line
  • Main Line Zone 1A/2 and 4

Services:

  • Verification of process technology with regard to instrumentation, control, and regulation (ICR) and operational flexibility
  • Creation of the operating, control, and automation philosophy for the overall system
  • Creation of functional descriptions of the process engineering systems and subsystems
  • Creation of piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Creation of the operating instructions and procedures for commissioning and trial operation
  • Creation of the test instructions for the commissioning of the process engineering plant components and main components
  • Creation of the acceptance documentation (“Initial Operation and Acceptance Tests)
  • Commissioning, trial operation, and acceptance

Key data:

  • Two Pipeline Systems
