Strategic Water Storage and Recovery Facility in Liwa

The task of the “Strategic Water Storage / Recovery Facility in Liwa” project is the introduction, storage and recovery of desalinated seawater (drinking water) for emergency supply to the city of Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).

The drinking water introduced and stored in the natural aquifer serves as a strategic water reserve, which in the event of a crisis is introduced into the existing drinking water supply system to cover the water requirements of the city of Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).

  • Creation of test documentation for the individual commissioning phases (Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning)

  • Creation of test instructions for filling, disinfecting and flushing the main lines and stations
